- §1 everybody is only a human!
If you answer to a post, write a PN or an email, don’t forget, that your words will not be read by a machine, but a human being. That means: Take care of what you write and how. Don’t become verbally abusive or impolite. You don’t have carnival license, just because you and another user don’t talk in private.
- §2 thinking before writing
Before writing, think a while about what the writer before said and maybe meant and what you want to answer. That’s an easy way to obviate misunderstandings. Also have a look at the ‘smilies’. They express feelings and can show humor in a sentence that may look serious or angry without the ‘smilie’. You should be very careful with generalizations. If you use them, it may come hard to other people.
- §3 esteem of moderators and administrators
Disputes, amissed item and offense against the behavior rules will lead to an intervention of the proper moderator or administrator and a rebuke of the concerning user. If the user will not react, a moderator is allowed to inform the administration and to close the thread. To avoid such a dispute, the user is asked to give a call to the moderator or to veto via PN. In a polite manner one should explain the own point of view. An anew negative answer of the moderator has to be accepted. Otherwise or in the case of returning incidents the user may be banned or excluded from the forum.
- §4 your words show who you are
Use a clear title if you open a thread. The title should already show the content of the thread. Just a ‘need help’ or a simple ‘hello’ is not very helpful.
Other users can just judge you on what you write. So it’s very important to say clear and intelligible what you want / mean. That includes also correct spelling, grammar and punctuation marks. To avoid such mistakes it’s helpful to use a spellchecker. Correct texts will help you and others in right communication.
- §5 take time
While writing a post take time. Read closely what’s been written before, ‘cause you should not repeat content which may have been posted before, nor should you edit your post again and again just because you’ve forgotten to mention something important. Draft a post which is clear and which wins over you and others.
- §6 be careful with humor and sarcasm
Always consider, if you’d like to draft a humorous or sarky text: Others can’t see your mimic and/or gestures. Use ‘smilies‘ to underline the mood of a sentence. But use them sparingly and not for spam.
- §7 sometimes it’s better to write a PN or an email
What we want to say is, that conflicts should not be led in the forum. The same applies to private matters. For both contact via PN or email.
- §8 we abide law
It is forbidden to appeal to criminal acts with words, images or related agent or to give guidance to this. The same applies to glorification of violence or acts of violence. The administration distances itself explicitly from this and will not overtake response for users who become salient. Such users will promptly be flunked out of the forum.
Further it is illegal to public copyrighted works (such as song texts, programs, images aso.) in the forum. You’re allowed to post short abstracts of such works for informal purpose naming the source.
We act in accordance with the law for the protection of children and youth!! Texts, that should only be read by adults or offending this law otherwise, will be deleted without comment or (but JUST when entered into an agreement with the administration) be posted in a closed area, where ONLY adults have access to.
- §9 advertising at forum
We point out that advert will only be accepted, if the terms were arranged with the administration.
Homepages or other forums can be linked in a special list. Please ask administration for further information.
Each advert with reverence to illegal download pages, pages with pornographic or violence-glorifying content, as well as pages appealing to criminal acts in or outside the web will promptly be deleted by a moderator or administrator!!!
